- I've been a hairdresser for more than 27 years and I've always been an artist (according to my mother). Creating is what keeps me balanced. My husband is my rock. We are the proud parents of three beautiful children. Our son serves in the U.S. Coast Guard. One daughter is a freshman in college and the other is a junior in high school. Our son and his lovely wife have blessed us with a gorgeous baby girl (the newest object of our affection). Lastly, there is my mother... my friend and comedic muse. Join me as I trek through my life changes as a women in business (as a hairdresser and jewelry artist), a woman in menopause, a soon-to-be empty nester, and a woman who has just moved her independent and sometimes absent-minded mother in with her (while still harboring a hormonal teenage girl). Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
